The Hohhot People's Stadium is affiliated to the Hohhot Sports Bureau and is a public welfare institution with independent legal personality. It is the main venue for holding large-scale cultural and sports activities in Hohhot. Over the years, it has made outstanding contributions to cultural and sports exchanges, major celebrations, sports competitions and spiritual civilization construction in Hohhot City, and has been commended by relevant municipal departments many times.

  Hohhot People's Stadium is located in the middle section of Gongyuan East Road and Xilin South Road in Hohhot. It is a large building with an oval reinforced concrete frame. The total construction area reaches 15,000 square meters and can accommodate 32,000 spectators. The stadium has fourteen stands, a total of two floors; there are athletes' lounges, practice rooms, conference rooms, etc. inside; the rostrum adopts the form of a large reinforced concrete eaves, 80 meters long and 9 meters wide, in the shape of a roc spreading its wings. It can accommodate nearly 700 people. The building area is decorated with the blue, yellow and white colors favored by the Mongolian nation, and is also equipped with various sports statues and patterns, which has distinctive national characteristics.
  There are 8 standard plastic runways with an inner length of 400 meters in the stadium. In the center of the stadium is an international standard football field of 105X68 meters and facilities for all track and field events. The four lighthouses outside the stadium are equipped with a total of 48 TG51 floodlights with a total power of 168 kilowatt; the sports ground is equipped with computer network, video audio system and complete advanced sports facilities.

  Recently, the Municipal Sports Bureau carried out a comprehensive renovation of the stadium's audio system. The speakers selected are all-weather waterproof speakers specially customized by FDB. The one-piece box design is beautiful and easy to install.
